This Valentine’s Day workout is designed to build strength, improve coordination, and keep the energy flowing between you and your partner. Perform each exercise for 60 seconds, followed by 20 seconds of rest, and complete three rounds for a full-body burn. Turn on your favorite music or a sweetheart playlist for extra motivation.

1. Partner Plank High-Fives

  • Set up your 4’x8’ Folding Exercise Mats with the short ends facing each other.
  • Get into a high plank position facing each other on your respective mats.
  • Maintain a strong core and lift one hand to high-five your partner.
  • Alternate hands while keeping good form.
  • If you want to make this move more challenging, turn your plank into a push up.

2. Sit-Up Pass

  • Sit facing each other, knees bent, with a medicine ball or small weight.
  • As one partner completes a sit-up, pass the ball or weight to the other partner.

3. Partner Squat and Press

  • Stand back-to-back with your partner.
  • One partner holds a small weight or medicine ball.
  • Lower into a squat simultaneously while holding the weight at chest level.
  • As you both stand up, pass the weight to your partner in a twisting movement, switching sides each time.
  • Repeat for the duration of the set.

4. Partner-Assisted Leg Raises

  • One partner lies on the mat while the other stands at their head.
  • The lying partner lifts their legs, and the standing partner gently pushes them back down.
  • Try not to let your feet touch the mat before lifting again.
  • We love this exercise because it strengthens the lower abs and builds core stability.

5. Side-by-Side Bicycle Crunches

  • Lie down side by side on your mats.
  • Perform bicycle crunches while maintaining the same rhythm.
  • Try to “mirror” each other’s movements.
  • You can count off to keep the rhythm.

Cool Down Together

After crushing your couples’ workout, take a few minutes to stretch together. Turn on a special song for the duration of your cool down.
